Custom gnome shortcuts does not work. (SOLVED)

Hi,

I've been trying out gnome for a bit and it is actually pretty nice. There is one thing though, I can't get custom keyboard shortcuts to work. I've tried the System>Preferences>Keyboard Shortcuts and with gconf-editor, but my <Alt>Return combination for a new terminal refuses to work. Nothing happens when I press this combo actually. Am I missing something?

Most probably that combination is already assigned to something else and you're having a conflict. If I'm not wrong that should be a global shortcut for getting games and stuff fullscreen.

I've thought of this and tried other combinations like: <Shift><Alt>T/Return ... etc. No effect. The standard shortcuts that come with gnome works fine.

Re: Custom gnome shortcuts does not work. (SOLVED)

Problem solved. I had to set the key-binding for the terminal in ccsm. System > CCSM > General > Commands. Forgot to mention I had compiz installed.
