ok, i decided this summer i will test Arch64.
i understand that alot of stuff need lib32... my question is if i install 32bit libraries. will it effect the perfomance? would it effect it so much it is better to just have a 32bit system for now?

You shouldn't need lib32 for much, just 32-bit only apps. You also shouldn't see any performance hit for your system. Some of the people around here are really adamant that Arch64 remain "pure", however, this is a pointless notion. Use what makes your system work the best with the least amount of trouble. IMHO, the lib32 route is much cleaner than having to setup a chroot. YMMV.

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

It looks as if there may be some problems with licensing with Skype. Although, there has been some talk (forever) about a 64 bit client.

I don't think "cleaner" is a good description. Chroot or not, either way works well, and is just a preference. Personally I think the chroot is initially more of a hassle, due to setting it up and renaming menu items, or having to add the dchroot command every time in order to launch a 32bit program. In the long run the chroot option is better contained, as it's all seperate and can easily be detached (turned off) from the main system. I don't think either way will effect performace to any noticable degree. Depending on how many 32 bit apps you install, the chroot is more of a hassle keeping up to date with pacman, but that can be minimized with some helper scripts or alias'. On the upside, you probably won't need to depend on as many aur packages with the 32bit chroot.
Personally I feel better organized with the chroot way. Every so often I'll turn it off and experimnt with the lib32 stuff and the 32bit packages I use, and decide if the 32bit chroot way is worth keeping. So far I'm still better satisfied with the chroot.

it's in 32 bit right?

The chroot isn't too tricky if you make an rc.d init script for the chroot and have little wrapper scripts to launch programs in your chroot.
Upgrades are a bit of a pain though (having to run pacman outside and inside the chroot).
