Switching from VCs to Xorg gives autopaste

This has been bothering me for a while, I hope someone can help me or say if this is a bug or something.

After changing consoles to Xorg or console and back to Xorg -- i.e. doing CTRL+ALT+F1, CTRL+ALT+F7 -- there is an automatic paste.
If this happens in urxvt and you have "rm -Rf *\n" in your buffer you are screwed!
If you have firefox up it pastes something too, but it can also raise a menu.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes -- in my case, when I resume my laptop from suspend, whatever is in the buffer gets pasted into the terminal.  I could never figure out how to disable this behavior.

Thanks for confirming. I took more effort to google and found the cause was flushed buttons.

http://pkgsrc.se/x11/xf86-input-mouse implies it's fixed now. 1.3.0 xf86-input-mouse is in Extra now, so time to upgrade!
