64-bit Minefield Launch Feedback

I'm not sure this is the correct forum for this, but the 64-bit Minefield package is the only place I've seen this problem with Firefox, or Minefield, so I've posted here.  Perhaps a mod will move it to a better location if there is one.

Do any of you happen to know how to turn off the 'launch feedback' that takes place right after Minefield is started under Gnome?  When you first start it, your cursor turns into a clock if you move it out of the new Minefield window.  It's not a system breaker for sure, but I've always found bouncing cursors and other launch feedback to be an annoyance.  It's usually easy to turn off in KDE, but I've not been able to find the location for disabling it under Gnome and searching the forums and the web have yielded any answers, yet.

Thanks for any hints.  smile

Nevermind, got it figured it out!  cool

Just edit the /usr/share/applications/firefox.desktop file and change the StartupNotify line to false:

StartupNotify=false
