i have tried using nspluginwrapper and the plugins from AUR
everything installs fine but minefield/firefox doesnt detect or use the plugin and i still cant view any flash

Did you follow the instructions after installing nspluginwrapper?
nspluginwrapper -v -a -i
and make sure there are no errors

when u install ndispluginwrapper the terminal displays some output that u need to follow. How about a wiki page?

this is the output i get after installing the plugin and doing nspluginwrapre -v -a -i :

no im not, i just installed it as a user and it had the same output
[brandon@myhost ~]$ nspluginwrapper -v -a -i
Auto-install plugins from /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

Install plugin /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
into /home/brandon/.mozilla/plugins/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so

The above gave away the fact that you were using root to install, so I would uninstall nsplugwrapper as both root AND user, then install it again as user only. Before you install as user, make sure you do:
mkdir -p /home/brandon/.mozilla/plugins
