Hello,
What is the closest thing to Microsoft Frontpage/Expression for linux? I've tried Nvu and Kompozer but they seem too basic. I can't even figure out how to change the font in Kompozer! Any ideas?
Thanks.

I like bluefish pretty well.

Quanta Plus is pretty nice too, if you want a WYSIWYG editor. Bluefish is even better if you want to write out all your HTML, PHP, and CSS by hand, which I recommend doing (the code your system generates isn't necessarily that great).

WYSIWYG editors are evil.
Bluefish is a pretty nice text editor with web development in mind. You might also like Geany. Or if you wanna be super-productive in the long run (does have a learning curve) then go for vim.

The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.

But if they tell you that I've lost my mind, maybe it's not gone just a little hard to find...

If you can stand the evilness of WYSIWYG tools then try SeaMonkey Internet Suite.

Does Quanta Plus work with Gnome or KDE only?

You can give Aptana a go. I haven't used it extensively, but it looked good.
Else, Vim is the best solution for me.

It is built on KDE... but surely you could have googled that

I like Quanta Plus. It's a cross between hard coding and WYSIWYG. It give you a preview of the webpage and buttons to add things like forms and stuff...personally I don't use them. Wish there was Quanta for KDE4!! Now I'm using KWrite/Kate.

I was aware of that - I'm just asking if it works in Gnome without having to use KDE?

it'll work, but it will need tons of kde-libs
