Hi,
Trying to complete a new 64-bit install from the latest (2008.06) USB. My problem is mounting custom formatted mdX partitions before starting the actual setup program.
With the last CD based install disc, you could mount under /tmp/install/
How can this be done now?
Thanks for all your help.

Exactly what isn't working? What happens when you try to mount them?

You probably want to know where to mount them. I always go for /mnt/ since it was that way when I started using arch. What you can do otherwise is start the installer, go through with mounting partitions (without creating filesystems on them...) and simply check where the installer mounts them.

Here's what happens:
2008.04 CD x86_64 ftp install - Mounting software raid partitions works. /arch/setup setting filesystems works, manual grub and setting mdadm.conf (/tmp/install/etc/mdadm.conf) before end of installation via VC/3. Reboot. Installed System boots fine.
2008.06 USB X86_64 ftp install - Mounting software raid partitions works. /arch/setup setting filesystems works, manual grub and setting mdadm.conf before end of installation via VC/3. Reboot. Installed System complains that partitions are not ext2. They are clearly ext2.
I've tried many combinations with 2008.06 and still the same result.
Any ideas?
