I want to use Entrance (the Enlightenment DM) with my fluxbox setup. However, I can't for the life of me figure out how to create a custom session to open fluxbox. There are preconfigured sessions to open gnome, kde, and enlightenment, but none for what I'm after. I've googled and found nothing. Can anyone help?
Thanks.

It works fine here. Just to test, I installed fluxbox, logged out of E17, pressed the "Enlightenment" button in Entrance, and the fluxbox listing was there.

Okay, I had to install e17-cvs to get the other options to show up (counter-intuitive much?). However, I've now actually chosen to use e17, because it is very nice. However, entrance won't start e17, fluxbox, gnome, or anything. When I choose an option and try to login, entrance just restarts. If I start the options by gdm or altering my .xinitrc, they start fine. The strange thing is that I have it working fine on my laptop; it is just on my desktop that either entrance or X crashes and takes me nowhere.

Is gdm in your daemons in /etc/rc.conf? You should put a "!" to prevent it from starting up and conflicting with Entrance.

Nope, gdm isn't running.

Not sure if you solved your problem already, but could you check /var/log/Xorg.0.log for error messages?
