Since my last upgrade and switch to kde4.1 (it's really awesome) I'm on the verge of panicking since Quanta+ suddenly disappeared. How do I get it back? I realize from other forum posts that certian development libraries have been postponed until 4.2 in which case .... holy crap I'm screwed ... I reeaaaally need Quanta+ back.

Try this:
pacman -S kdewebdev

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

Provide a PKGBUILD and maybe who'll find someone to package it. (I think I maintain more than enough packages)

But quanta will need a seperate kdewebdev-3.x.y package too...
The project has been declared dead for another time, but there seem to be some people who wanna keep on developing it

Ooops... I've seen later that Quanta+ is missing from kdewebdev 4.1.0.
I would recommend Bluefish or Nvu, but I'm not a web developer so I don't know if they're at least equal in functionality.
I just hope someone will bring Quanta+ to the next (4th) level (of KDE).

@dolby: that's quite disturbing news. I thought Quanta+ was quite popular and attractive to develop on. Though the quanta.kdewebdev.ord website haven't been updated since 2005, I was certian that I've seen several new developed features since. Is there any announcements from the guys who wants to adopt Quanta+?
Bluefish and Nvu are problably both very capable, but it'll be hell to switch since I've spent years adapting to Quanta+

I have put a PKGBUILD into AUR: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=18707

And thanks for the link Dolby!
