I see that the number of Linux games is increasing fast !!!
That I think it is a really good thing.
I've noticed that the number of games in Arch extra section is increasing as well.

Wow, who needs cedega ??
exactly - if more people supported native linux games instead of paying for winex etc then linux gaming would be a much better developed area then it is now.

I do! It's only for Warcraft 3 now though.
If you develop an ear for sounds that are musical it is like developing an ego. You begin to refuse sounds that are not musical and that way cut yourself off from a good deal of experience.

I'm not saying cedega sucks !!!
The guys from wine and winex are doing what they can to make people use Linux. This is the weak part of Linux , the games.
But there are people working hard to make others enjoy their games for free.
And still, a free game will never look as good as a for sale one!!!
I am a simple man, I still use dosbox (mainly for Crystal Cave I game I played at school 8 years ago ). My girlfriend uses wine for her accounting programs (I use it for 3d Flash Animator for which I received a license from the 3dfa team ). I like wine, it is very cool and very stable.
I never tried winex or cedega.
Maybe I will when I'll be able to buy me some games
but until then bzflag rulez, supertux as well, tuxkart is great and let's not forget cube3d and all the other products of passion !!!!
