Enemy territory no sound part 2: OSS

Hi there. I've been using arch for some days now and today i installed ET. Everything works fine except one thing: sound. I came here and searched for et and i found this topic but there's one difference between this topic and me: i use oss (old habit i still have from the distros i used before and the kernel config that has been with me for a while). I have sound on other apps, so there's no problem with permissions on the /dev/sound/* modules. The interesting output i get from et is this:

------- sound initialization -------
------------------------------------
----- Sound Info -----
sound system is muted
    1 stereo
32768 samples
   16 samplebits
    1 submission_chunk
22050 speed
0x4c616000 dma buffer
No background file.
----------------------
Sound memory manager started

However, i ran aumix and there's nothing muted, so i'm kinda lost here sad

My sound related loaded modules are the following:

i810_audio 30072 -
ac97_codec 16272 -
soundcore 6752 -

Help...please ?!

Re: Enemy territory no sound part 2: OSS

I installed alsa and recompiled my kernel with support for it. Everything's ok now.
