[SOLVED][Awesome-Git] Config help

I just updated to the latest version and found out about the new file location like ~/.config/awesome/rc.lua and such. Now I have a specific problem with having line 386 in my config here: http://pastie.org/245335 When I have that line awesome starts and then dies instantly, by getting rid of the line i can get in and everything seems fine except obviously there's no statusbar(commented out). I haven't my way around awesome yet to figure where I need to make a change so any help would be appreciated.

Re: [SOLVED][Awesome-Git] Config help

Loaded up your config, and while I don't know exactly what is wrong (I use xmonad, have only just taken a peek at awesome3) it appears to be the taglist widget. Commenting it out I was able to get the statusbar to display and other widgets working.

Edit: Actually that wasn't a very thorough test, the tasklist widget didn't display properly either. Using your config but replacing the taglist and tasklist widgets with the ones from this config worked properly however: http://www.calmar.ws/dotfiles/dotfiledi … somerc.lua

Thanks for that!, I've fixed it by using some of the stuff from that config smile
