Hi,
I just updated my computer, and I can't find kwrite/kate anymore.
Does anyone knows where it is ?
As a side note, does anyone knows how to find a KDE package given a KDE application name ?
Thanks.

If you aren't using KDEmod, you can't just install kwrite. It should be included in kdebase probably. Doing a pacman search for kwrite gave me:
kdemod-core/kdemod-kdebase-kwrite 4.1.0-2 (kdemod kdemod-complete kdemod-uninstall)
KDE Base Applications - KWrite, a simple text editor
kdemod-core/kdemod-kdebase-kwrite-debug 4.1.0-2 (kdemod-debug)
KDE Base Applications - KWrite, a simple text editor - Debug Symbols

kwrite is in kdebase and kate in kdesdk.

Pierre, if I may point your attention to http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/9891
This is KDE 3.5.9 bug, which reappeared in kdelibs3, making kdevelop almost unusable

Well, I didn't searched for kwrite in pacman ... my fault. But I didn't knew it could gve any results.
In fact, the problem is that the update didn't went very well, so i removed the old version of kdebase but the new version wasn't installed. I finished by noticing that and I could correct it. Sorry.
Now, it's KDE4, let's see how I can use it ...
