How to autodetect new hardware?

My problem is this:

I removed my old audigy sound card and enabled the integrated one in my mobo.
I don't know how to automatically remove the old audio modules and replace
them with modules for the new sound card. I could of course edit the "MODULES"
line in rc.conf but I'm not sure what to remove and what to add.

So basically I'd like to rerun the hardware detection routine
that runs during installation of Arch. Any ideas?

God I feel so stupid right now
It was only an alsamixer issue so the new module was loaded
automatically during startup after all
