ATI Dualscreen : 1920x1200 + 1600x1200 (24" & 20") (ATI 3870)

Howdy

First let me start by saying, i managet to get 3820 or something in resolution, meaning that it was "fooled" to think i ran 2x1920x1200 screens, the result was that i got a black line when i took screenshots on the right

Then a followed a guide here, a link that went to ubuntu forums for dualdisplay for aticards.
I followed that to the point,and now i am at 2048x768, and that is even worse

I cant no matter what i try, get it back to the old one with 2x1920x1200 monitors (this is to lowres for me on 2 screens), and i was wondering if anyone had any to the point hints of how to get the computer to give me a proper resolution.
