Try
set ttymouse=xterm2
thanks that worked
is it possible to enable mouse scrolling also for tools like less, more or most?

I'm also wondering about that. Maybe it's possible to map scroll up and scroll down to PGUP and PGDOWN respectively for urxvt...
For lack of better words: chair, never, toothbrush, really. Ohw, and fish!

Hi Everyone,
For "less" try this AUR alternative:
less-mouse 436-1:

Works great on my end.
Enjoy!
In solving a problem of this sort, the grand thing is to be able to reason backward. That is a very useful accomplishment, and a very easy one, but people do not practice it much. In the everyday affairs of life it is more useful to reason forward, and so the other comes to be neglected. There are fifty who can reason synthetically for one who can reason analytically. --Sherlock Holmes

Wow, this one is great. People rarely use it but it's very useful to me
