I have a program installed called openftd, in that program are url's. What i want is that if i click on that url it opens in opera. if i click it now it says: "Can not find external browser" It worked in gnome but not anymore since i use Xmonad.

Add this to your ~/.bashrc file:
export BROWSER="opera"
I'm not sure whether the executable for Opera is opera (never used it before), but you should set the BROWSER variable to whatever that may be in ~/.bashrc. You can even issue that line in terminal and see if that solves the problem before putting it in your ~/.bashrc.
