My printer

Hello, I've got a printer and an image scanner made by Olivetti, Any_Way Simple  type, but it's not compatible with Linux. what can I do ??

Have you tried searching www.linuxprinting.org ? That is a library willed with printers and instructions how to make them work in linux.

/EDIT: ok, just checked it myself and it doesn't look too good. Maybe you should contact the foomatic-people to see if there's any way you can help them in providing a driver...

/EDIT2: The Olivetti-people provide a OSX-driver, so it might be possible to extract the files out of the .dmg and look for a PPD that works in CUPS: http://www.olivetti.com/Site/Public/pro … 5&iid=562#
