Good question, since I don't see any client app available in pacman and a strigi KIO slave is not known as protocol. I am on kdemod4, though, so did you already try 'strigi:/' in the konqueror address bar?

In the Applications menu there is a Find Files and Folders or something similar. Try that or press Alt+F2 and try looking for it in the run dialog.

strigiclient can be used for searches, however that thing is slow. Even takes ages to launch.

Try systemsettings>> advanced>> nepomuk and select enable strigi desktop search

for me strigi just eats all the cpu for hours and doesn't even index a single thing (as indicated by strigiclient)
