I cannot make qingy work together with thinkfinger. When I add the usual "auth sufficient pam_thinkfinger.so" to /etc/pam.d/qingy and restart qiny, then
1) scanning a fingerprint doesn't do anything
2) typing in my user password and hitting enter gives "Crypto error - regenerate your keys", then the qingy login screen is drawn on the screen and the computer hard locks.
Anyone has any ideas/has been succesful in making the setup work?
Thanks.

Hmmm, any luck with this? I'm thinking of using qingy instead of slim, but I'd like to have fingerprint authentication. I've got pretty much the same problem with xlockmore. Apparently, some apps don't go well with PAM/Thinkfinger. I wonder how much PAM/ThinkFinger I'd have to learn to try to fix these.
Oh well, just rambling.

I quit trying at some point... I guess I'm waiting until qingy devs will fix pam support
Meanwhile, there's another fingerprinting software: libfprint and pam_fprint in extra repo. I haven't tried that yet.
