Error when building e_systray

I wanted to try out this application (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=16804) to see how it works withe e17 but when I'm trying to build the package from AUR I get the following error message:

e_mod_main.c: In function '_gc_init':
e_mod_main.c:102: error: 'E_Shelf' has no member named 'win'

Any ideas about how it can be fixed?
I've got the latest e-17 packages from community installed btw...

Re: Error when building e_systray

It's broken with newer CVS builds. I found a link at OpenSuse that told users to remove the package before upgrading (post #16):

Thanks for the info.
I guess I'm "stuck" with xfce until the stubborn e17 team gives up and codes a proper systray solution.

I'm using stalonetray and it works fine. Handling the background is a bit hackish the way I did it, but it works. I just wish that developers would make system tray support optional. I'm down to two programs that need it, and I'm trying to get them to make it go away.

[PLEA_TO_DEVELOPERS]Please make system tray support optional in your programs. Not all of us are using a DE and/or find system trays useful[PLEA_TO_DEVELOPERS]
