Hmm I thought first this is a topic to gather high resolution pictures, but nope. Anyway, really good job, I like the orange and right one. The only problem, I have a 4:3 CRT, so I can't really use them as they are now.
It would be great to have a community coppermine gallery somewhere and gather hi-res pictures like these ones.
(I stay silent now, I only draw/make manga/anime drawings/pictures.. what I don't think anybody would like ^^..)

Thanks shiki. I've edited the Arch one for 4:3; http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3151/275 … fef7_o.png - The orange one should scale/crop ok,
I'd be more than happy for others to post their work here (even manga/anime).

i know this topic is old and all, but i just want to point out, that these are all ripped almost exactly from a GIMP tutorials site. i mean, except for the rainbow one, the only thing thats different is the logo. see for yourself
http://gimp-tutorials.net/gimp_msnbc_effect (the rainbow one)
http://gimp-tutorials.net/mac-wallpaper-tutorial (the orange one)
http://gimp-tutorials.net/gimp-glow-effect (the "light" one)
if you want to use those tutorials and make your own similar work, thats cool and all, but dont just take a premade template and insert the arch logo into it. one thing i think is amazing about arch is that every installation is personal and unique, putting up a template wallpaper is kinda contrary to the point aint it?
the problem arguing with people who's [weight<their IQ<140] is they dont get it when you make fun of them

lol. thanks for those tutorials
