Hi!
I checked the new Kernel 2.6.26 from testing today. Based on the changelog there is a support for uvc video devices compiled in. And indeed my webcam, a logitech pro 9000 was found. But the downside of it is, that it won't start. I can see it in kopete, skype and webkam but when activation it, it won't work. It used to work with the linux-uvc-svn package from AUR. So I was wondering if it's a general Kernel issue, a system issue that I have, or something that misses in the Arch Kernel?
Does somebody have the same webcam working with kernel 2.6.26?
Thanks!

It works rocking stable with 2.6.25 (motion), no experience about 26.

That's why I was wondering about it. It worked with linux-uvc-svn perfectly in 2.6.25 as you said. But what happened with 2.6.26? Does somebody have an idea?

I deleted this because lots of things changed and I didn't know it. The camera is working fine. I'll be going away now.
