automounting Ipod in gtkpod?

Hi, I am trying to be able to automount my Ipod in gtkpod, just by plugging it in.  Right now, I have to open thunar, click on the ipod icon which mounts the ipod.  The ipod is being mounted at /media/ANANO.  It is set there in gtkpod but whenever I just plug it in and click load Ipod(s) it gives me this dialogue box:

Could not find iPod directory structure at '/media/ANANO'.
If you are sure that the iPod is properly mounted at '/media/ANANO', gtkpod can create the directory structure for you.

Do you want to create the directory structure now?

So my question is, how do I set up gtkpod to be able to just plug in my ipod, and hit load ipod without having to go into thunar and access the drive first?
