I'm wondering if we need a virtualization or emulation forum section where topics related to VMware, VirtualBox, QEMU, Parallels, Xen, Wine, etc., could be discussed. I'm amazed at how much interest in this area has mushroomed the past couple of years, with an accompanying improvement in function and performance.
One reason it's significant for Linux users is that it permits those of us who still need to run Windows apps to have dedicated Linux systems rather than dual-boot setups, bringing us that much closer to freedom.
Also, Windows runs much better for me in VMware and VirtualBox than on its own, I suppose because the hardware emulation is controlled and optimized by the VM.

These things can go in the Workstation forums. I am not a big fan of having a lot of forums sections. When there are too many of them, users don't know where to post. So we end up will post about the same topic scattered around.
