Hello Everyone!
machine: asus eeePC 701
kernel: toofishes eee-kernel (2.6.26eee)
I would like to use smbnetfs on my Asus eeePC 701, with toofishes "eeePC"-Kernel.
So when I installed smbnetfs via pacman, fuse was automatically installed as a dependency.
My first problem was, that there was no /etc/fuse.conf (in which i would have had to write the "users_allow_other"-option). Also, the module "fuse" was not loadable. It just gave me the fatal "module not found".
After looking in the Web for similar problems, I think I know that fuse is already integrated in the Kernel.
But when I try to start smbnetfs, it fails. Can anyone help me?
thanks,
Rinser

not sure about the rest, but so far as the /etc/fuse.conf file goes, simply create it and add the needed line
i too use smbnetfs, although it hasnt been working for me as of late...
