$ shaman
(process:5744): Gtk-WARNING **: This process is currently running setuid or setgid.
This is not a supported use of GTK+. You must create a helper
program instead. For further details, see:
http://www.gtk.org/setuid.html
Refusing to initialize GTK+.
And I have qgtkstyle-svn installed for QT themestyle.
Hope the authors of shaman to know this.

as super user do
chmod -s /usr/bin/shaman
i assume the command to run it is /usr/bin/shaman
maybe report a bug to the shaman packager if
it came that way in a pkg

That will cause shaman to stop working: http://shaman.iskrembilen.com/trac/wiki … ged%20user
So it looks like that theme is just not compatible. Report a bug on the shaman bug tracker (http://shaman.iskrembilen.com/trac/report) for the shaman devs to see this.

Hi everyone, i had the same problem as riverscn, i solved it thanks to kumyco tip, it worked for me, but only if i launch Shaman with gksu, otherwise, it brakes like Allan said.

QGtkStyle has been fixed so it will fall back to cleanlooks instead of trying to load Gtk in this case.

What case? Here it loads my GTK Theme and work normal using gksu.

It will work fine with gksudo because then the app doesnt have to call setuid. I fixed it so it would not crash without gtksudo.
