Hello,
I'm using Archlinux like 4 months and I very like it. Before I have used Ubuntu and Mandriva. Now I want to buy TV Card for my computer. I want to buy DVB-S type and I have question. Which card will be the best for the archlinux? I have choose this one: http://www.yoyotech.co.uk/product_info. … a763eb09aa . What you think about this one? It's hard to configure TV Cards on Linux? Maybe there is some tutorials about this? Sorry for my English.
Thanks, Mazur/m72

I use a Hauppage WinTV Nova-T PCI card in my desktop, and it works perfectly in Kaffeine. No configuration required. Try checking this website http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-S_USB_Devices for information on what may or may not work. AFAICT your card is neither listed in supported or unsupported, so it'd be a punt to guess as to whether it works or not.

Thanks, I will think about this one: http://www.twinhan.com/product_satellite_5.asp because I find some information's there about Compro VideoMate and it's unsupported on Linux.
