Hello guys,
Today I wanted to start filezilla but it didn't start.
Before it always worked Don't know why it stopped working.
[blastmaster@WernerPC ~]$ filezilla
filezilla: error while loading shared libraries: libgnutls.so.13: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I checked but the library gnutls is installed on my system. Is this something different filezilla needs with the latest version ?
I cannot find a package called libgnutls, ony gnutls but that one is installed.

I can build it myself indeed.. but is it still possible to update filezilla with pacman after I build it manualy ?
Because I don't want to compile filezilla over and over again with every new released version...

Pacman just updates it regularly when a new version appears.

Great, filezilla works again.

This is becuase you are using the [testing] repo and the [community] repo does not get updated for changes in [testing]. One day we will have a [testing-community] repo and things like this will get fixed but until then expect to rebuild packages.

Today, I upgraded archlinux and i have the same error...

The gnults upgrade has hit the [extra] repo now so the filezilla package needs to be rebuilt to link to the right library version. I don't think a bug report has been filed about this so that should be done. Then you either wait on the maintainer to fix the package or you can rebuild it yourself using ABS and makepkg.
