K Application Launcher ignores me

It seems like, almost randomly, the K Application Launcher will stop listening to me. I can do anything except start apps from it. No error message, nothing. Nothing happens, is all. For every one. I can still launch things like Konsole by right-clicking in an open Dolphin window and open Terminal here, but K is unresponsive.

I get this too from time to time, but restarting kde fixes it.  Don't know how to report the bug.

Switched to KDEmod, same problem

EDIT: Update, so far, removing the Launcher applet and adding it again seems to work...
