Only mono output on sound card

Ok there's three issues, one may be caused by the other.

First: I add "alsa" to the modules array like the Arch how-to says but when Arch boots the kernel can't find the alsa module.

Second: my sound card needs the snd-emu10k2 module instead of snd-emu10k1. How would I install/aquire that module? I need the extra emu you know.

Third: When I run "aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Left.wav" I get sound through both left and right speakers. It's the same for Front_Right.wav

The sound card is a Creative Audigy Sound Blaster, model #0090
