pppd problem

I followed the wiki guide "PPPoE Setup with pppd" until it tells me to enter

pppd call pppoe

. Then there's an error saying something with "Are you sure you have 2.4-?" What does it mean?

Re: pppd problem

Errr.... I've never seen that error before. But, why dont you try the good n' ol' way of configuring pppoe? (pppoe-setup/pppoe-{start,stop})

They say that if you play a Win cd backward you hear satanic messages. That's nothing! 'cause if you play it forwards, it installs windows.

Re: pppd problem

Because I'm not really sure how?

The beginner's guide just says

/etc/rc.d/ads1 start

to start it, and

/etc/rc.d/ads1 stop

to stop it. That didn't work very well.
