Only think I can think of is the use of all my RAM, have 4 GB!
Is there any applications created for the 64-bit platform?
If only using, Firefox & Pidgin is there any idea to switch to 64-bit?

I think the better question is, why not?
That is, if you need Flash, some funny video codecs like wmv3(9?), or no driver for 64-bit, then you probably don't want to go 64-bit.
Otherwise, you should just go 64-bit... in that case you either don't need flash, or you know how to get 32-bit browser working in a 64-bit OS to get flash... and that all the 64-bit codecs are all you need, and you have all necessary drivers for your hardware.

You can still use flash 32 bit in a 64 bit environment.
I'm very happy using my entire computer as it was designed (not that stupid 32 vista that came installed).
I don't miss anything, since I use the computer mostly to programming, chat and surf the web.

Like what Sunnz said: "Why not"
I'm currently using 64 bit Arch and I'm loving it. I'm able to use Flash 10 rc with no problems and I get to listen to all my music with no problems also.
