Touchpad problem

After the update
My touchpad stops working

Click buttons work well, but it can't move the cursor anymore...
This problem comes after the update

But USB external mouse works well...

Any suggestion?

For some reason gsynaptics has exploded with recent updates and fails to work anymore. You'll have to manually change your touchpad settings using synclient.

synclient MinSpeed=.5
synclient MaxSpeed=.5

That should get your mouse moving again. After that it's fine tuning. Once that's finished you have to remove gsynaptics-init from your startup programs and then add the options you changed in synclient to your Xorg.conf.

do you have gsynaptics installed? The recent update cause the same thing to happen to me. I removed the packed and rebooted and everything was fine

pacman -R gsynaptics
