Hello everybody!
I just reinstalled Arch with the new 2.6.26 kernel on my Laptop (MSI VR201). I compiled the madwifi driver for my atheros 5007eg with the new HAL for this device but it don't work. With kernel 2.6.25 it workt perfectly.
Thanks for any answer/sugestion.

Kernel 2.6.26 is broken...stick with 2.6.25 until a newer release comes out. You're not going to much benefit (if any) by using 2.6.26.

But kernel 2.6.25 isn't in the repository/AUR. How can I install it again?

kernel 2.6.25 should still be in your pacman cache- go to /var/lib/pacman/local. If you haven't flushed your cache (pacman -Scc), it should still be there.
You should find your kernel there. Install it with
pacman -U <filename>

What's the problem with it?
falke: did you blacklist the ath5k module in rc.conf? madwifi and ath5k don't coexist peacefully.

2.6.26 has caused a lot of issues...especially with wireless. Madwifi & 2.6.26 don't play nice together. Even Ndiswrapper doesn't work properly under 2.6.26

After deleting the ath5k module from rc.conf it works perfectly. Thanks.
