Gnome Appearance/Theme settings reset after logout

Hello, I have Gnome running on my install and have a few themes installed for it. I try changing from Clearlooks to Darklooks, for instance, and everything works OK. In fact, on a side note, sometimes Darklooks does not work until I select another theme such as Glossy and then select again Darklooks.
Anyway, when I get it working and then logout and login again, I'm back to generic clearlooks but it looks like the default gtk theme with ugly buttons and controls etc until I go back to appearance and select a new theme.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

Re: Gnome Appearance/Theme settings reset after logout

A quick googling of 'darklooks gtk' brought up several pages about this theme and the behaviour you're describing...

Hope this helps
