Hello archers !
I've made this topic, because I need to be helped about Xorg installation
I want to install just the packages that I need, I don't want to install useless packages/dependancies !
I've read the French, and the English wiki, it said Archlinux install many packages when we type "pacman -S xorg" (xf86-input-keyboard xf86-input-mouse xf86-video-vesa xorg-fonts-100dpi xorg-fonts-75dpi xorg-res-utils xorg-server xorg-twm xorg-xinit xterm)
I prefer install Xorg step by step, because i just want some of theses packages
I've read that we must do "pacman -S xserver-xorg" if we want do that i've said, but after this step, what packages/dependancies I must install if I want use a mouse, keyboard... ?
Thanks
Sorry for my english, I'm just a 16 years old french linux user

Well you might not need 'xf86-video-vesa', but it always good to have as a fallback driver if there is something wrong with your other video driver. 2 packages that you might never use is xterm and twm.
Appereantly you can also live without the dpi packages.
Arch - It's something refreshing

In my opinion, you should just install the whole xorg group, but if you really want to drop something, then drop twm, vesa (if you are not going to use it) and either the 75dpi or the 100dpi font(depending on your screen).

pick and choose for yourself, you can see what each installs by examining the PKGBUILDS.
After all, you are the one that wants to be picky, so by all means you can do the leg work on what you need and don't need.

according to the PKGBUILD there is 4 sources being downloaded from xorg.freedesktop.com. You want more info, I suggest searching the xorg.freedesktop.org website.
