I am a complete Arch Linux noob. I am not a complete noob to linux, however. I have successfully installed Arch, but don't know what to do after I reboot. It takes me to a terminal. How do I set up/get to a gui? Also, the Grub Bootloader doesn't give me an option to boot into Windows. Is there a way to fix this? Sorry if I sound like a complete idiot.

That wiki article will help you get a desktop environment going.

Thank You!!! I looked there before and must've been rushing through it because I didn't see anything, but I do now. I'll follow it.

Add this to your /boot/grub/menu.lst:
title Windows
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1
Change the hd-params if windows is on another harddisk, partition

it's already in the menu.lst file, the end user just needs to point it to the right HD/partiton and uncomment the lines to activate the feature.

Thank you all, but I have one more question. I was just testing X and when I pressed ctrl alt backspace to quit it, the screen went whitish and had different colored verticle streaks on it. I waited quite a while and it didn't get fixed. So, I rebooted and get this; 'ACPI: EC: GPE storm detected, disabling EC GPE". After that, nothing happens.

I got past that last error, but now I've just installed Gnome, logged out and restarted. When I boot back into Arch, i get this "AcpI: EC: non-query interrupt received, switching to interrupt mode" and it doesn't continue to boot.

I think you should start a new thread for this, since the acpi is a different issue and the thread has been marked solved
