compaq amd kernel panic

I am trying to install archlinux on my new compaq cq50-106au laptop but it fails to install, the installer stops with a hardware error. The same problem happens with other linux distros also.
But windows xp installs and works perfectly on my system.

I read in some form that this problem is may be because of some athos driver for networking.
Please help me out how do i install linux on my system.

I have taken a photo of the kernel error msg. I am also getting the same error with ubuntu cd. But i can't figure out how to add an attachment with my post.
