[SOLVED] Ldconfig Error on Each Upgrade

Hi,

I'm getting this error after every system upgrage:

/sbin/ldconfig: /usr/lib/ is not a symbolic link

And if I run 'ldconfig' as a root, I get the same message. Everything seems to work, though. Any ideas what this means? My ld.so.conf looks like this:

#
# /etc/ld.so.conf
#

# End of file
/opt/lib32/lib
/opt/lib32/usr/lib
/usr/lib/libfakeroot

Thanks,
Siku

Welcome to the forums.

Try adding /usr/lib to ld.so.conf, then run ldconfig again.

Re: [SOLVED] Ldconfig Error on Each Upgrade

Hi,

Apparently the x264-git caused the problem. After I removed it, the error message is gone. I wonder if the x264-git is to blame or the yaourt, which I used to build and upgrade the package.

But the problem is solved, at least for now. Thank you for your help.

Regards,
Siku
