We'll be attending FrOSCon again this year. This Free and Open Source
Software Conference takes place in Sankt Augustin near Bonn/Germany on August
23rd and 24th.
Alongside many talks and lectures about free software, projects are
permitted to present themselves at a booth and are provided with their
own project room.
It would give us great pleasure to welcome you to our booth and project
room at FrOSCon 2008. You will be able to meet the following Archers this year:
* Andreas Radke (andyrtr)
* Christoph Neuroth (delmonico)
* Gerhard Brauer (gerbra)
* Jan de Groot (jgc)
* Jens Adam (byte/jra)
* Pierre Schmitz (pierre)
* Thomas Bächler (brain0)

How was the conference? Did the Arch booth get many visitors?

Now, I didn't spend that much time at the booth, but I think it was quite ok.
There would have been more visitors with a location in the main booth row instead of the first floor, but that'd mean it would have also been way more crowded and hectic. Not having to climb stairs in order to travel between booth and developer room was also a plus. We had Ubuntu to our right side, OpenStreetMap to the left and RadioTux and LPI right across.
There shouldn't be many of the 100 CDs left. We had one machine showing a video loop of the bootup of the install cd and the whole setup process and another one got installed by brain0 in the morning as a general desktop showcase. People didn't need to go down to the KDE/Kubuntu booth for a KDE4 presentation. ;-)
It was also handy to show visitors how a PKGBUILD looked like or how simple it is to track down unneeded packages with pacman.
We also got visitors in the developer room -- Arch users who simply wanted to see how the devs look like, some with specific support questions, and somebody who wanted to get some insight into AUR/TU stuff, general packaging and how everything is organized. I think he even helped delmonico to sync his phone over bluetooth. ;-)
The conference as a whole went very smooth in its 3rd year, I'd say. Visit http://www.froscon.de/ and http://wiki.froscon.de/ for more information about the whole show and http://users.archlinux.de/~pierre/froscon/2008/ for some pics of us.

Could you put the names on one of the group photographs so that those who, like me, didn't have the chance to attend can know who is who ?
