Compiling Kernel Problems

I have pretty much everything working except this:

On a how-to ive been using thats very helpful it tells me to

            11. Creat /boot/image.2.4.21.img 2.4.21 by typing:

                      /sbin/mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.4.21.img 2.4.21

My problem is i have no mkinitrd in any of the *bin's , theres one in /usr/abs/base/kernel, but it doesnt allow me to make an image, i need help, what should i do?

Re: Compiling Kernel Problems

u'll find the mkinitrd in the /usr/abs/base/kernel dir.....

and u maybe have to edit it a bit, but it's quite easy, it's only a bash script ....
good luck, i had a lot of problems with these initrd.imgs, i would recommend to build the necassary modules _into_ the kernel ....

( don't know if it is there in 2.4.21 because didn't update yet, but i guess it is)

nothing,
maybe I have a perfect signature _someday_
