Hi All,
I've had a look on the forum and i'm probably asking a question that has been answered before,
I had gnome 2.22 on my system and changed that for Kdemod 4.1, i've now moved to open box and i want to clean my system of any thing left from Gnome, Remove kde completely and clean any orphans etc afterwards,
Is there anything to help with this? or any tips / guidelines,
I'm refusing to reinstall as i don't belive i need too
Thanks
Matthew

pacman -Rnsc kde
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Also, in your home directory do an
ls -l .k*
and the same for .g* Get rid of all the .kde, .gnome. .gconf, etc config files and directories.

ls -d will probably be more helpful.

Thanks. Useful to get rid of this rubbish KDE4 stuff. Since I've upgraded to KDE4 I had the worst graphical experience ever - neverending issues here and there. Inter using XFCE, Enlightment, but moving to the LXDE for good.
Good luck!
