That just installs the desktop environment itself. If you want extra apps, you'll have to install them.
You should be able to see exactly what packages will be installed after running the command, but before saying yes, or no, to install them.

Just try it, you will get asked. Also, pacman -Sg xfce4 will output all the member pkgs of the group.
If you want more apps, there's another group called "xfce4-goodies", but I would advise against installing it completely (xfce4-xfapplet-plugin depends on gnome-panel).

This also pulls gnome-desktop so be careful if you don't want it and all it's dependencies.
