It's close to heresy... I love it..
but it's fairly simple to install.. I don't think a package would be all that much easier
the faq says:
General installation instructions:
-Decompress the tar.gz in /usr/share as root -Edit the .xinitrc file of the user you want to run XPde and put this line:
/usr/share/xpde/bin/startxpde
-Start X

Most definitely. Somebody should open a Paypal account.
I personally am not too fond of xpde, but it's a good idea for facilitating the move from XP to Linux. On the other hand side, I'm wondering how long they'll survive. I can't really see Microsoft being happy about the rip-off.

even if it is quite easy to install XPde there should be a package for it ?
Why hould Microsoft do something against XPde. There are many thems lokking like WinXP...
