Can't create another partition [Solved]
So, i installed Arch on a 500GB drive and the install takes up 4 partitions.
1. /
2. /var
3. /swap
4. /home
And i wanted to use the other 420GB for ext3 storage since i'm sick of using NTFS. Is there any way i can create a 5th partition (extended) without losing any data? And what would i have to do? I'm running Ubuntu on another drive, and think i can make my /home an extended partition, but is that possible? 
Oh and another thing, i never seem to get any of my swapfile used? It's always at 0%...Is this normal? Since in Ubuntu i always have some being used.

Traditionally, operating systems can only deal with 4 partitions. So: no, you must delete one partition, create an extended partition, and then you can create more partitions.
How many RAM do you have? With 1-2 GB you don't need swap, with regular usage, but YMMV, I think, only if this would be a laptop.

Yeah i have 2GB ram, and my swap isn't even being used. But i was wondering if it would be safe/wise to resize my /home partition and just make it 440GB?
* Just resized my /home and everythings dandy now.
