I've purged all the kde and almost all the qt related stuff from my installation. Got sick of an inconsistent desktop look. The only kde app that I might miss is k3b but well, I'll learn to live without it...
Now, to my question. How can I change the qt theme ? Since after removing the above mentioned and deleting all the folders I now ended up with this:

I've tried qtconfig but that doesn't have any affect on Virtualbox...

There are two qtconfigs, for qt3 (/opt/qt/bin/qtconfig) and qt4 (/usr/bin/qtconfig).

Hmm, I tried the one in /opt/qt/bin and it has only a few themes which are all similar to the one above...
Damn me if I get that qtconfig.....

You should install some theme, seems like you don't have, install qtcurve-kde3
If it ain't broke, broke it then fix it.
