ncurses-5.6-8 and libform.so.5
So upgrading to the above ncurses seems to remove libform.so.5. This breaks an application for me. Is there a reason this file is removed? Is there something I can do to restore it or must I downgrade?

Yes. It is a ruby gem. sup, in fact. I removed and reinstalled, but it keeps looking for that file. I've even tried making a soft link from libform.so to libform.so.5, but no good.

Reinstalling won't work. You need to rebuild it.

I think I had the same problem (a couple of days ago?!?)- anyway, I just re-installed the ncurses gem, and sup started right up again. Hope that helps.
