nokia 5310 meets linux (archlinux of course)

Hi there.

I've just bought new gadget: Nokia 5310. And I'm wondering how to make my Arch and my new phone as efficient pair as posible.

USB mode (nokia visible as usb-pen) works perfectly fine. What I really need is synchronization with external apps (memos, calendar, contacts). Other things (if possible) would be cool to have to.

Please speak up if you have any experiences with getting these two to like each other.

Thx. New requiment: to use my computer as a bluetooth/cable modem for browsing web with my phone. I need to download few things - like an firmware update, and wish that I could do that for free - meaning via my LAN network.

Just as a curiosity-sparked question, how are you managing to get Linux on this device at all? Are you simply using an ARM-compiled version of the kernel, pacman and packages you need on an ARM CPU, or is it x86...?!

Ermmm... I'm not putting Linux on my cellphone, dav7. Sorry if I made that somewhere unclear. I'm just trying to get two devices (notebook with ArchLinux and Nokia 5310) to communicate.

Oh haha... right then. Small misunderstanding (but a little easy to do, given the state the mobile device industry is in) roll
