s2ram resuming with shortcuts

hey,
if I run "sudo s2ram -f" from any console, the system will standby and resume always correctly
but if I make a keyboard shortcuts, it seems that the pc tries to suspend again after resuming, and sometimes it also freezes.
Tried with gnome and fluxbox...
Any suggestions?

I'm running a desktop pc (asrock motherboard, intel coreduo)

Re: s2ram resuming with shortcuts

if I run a root session, the shortcut works...
so can it be a sudo issue?

Re: s2ram resuming with shortcuts

I have this too, but I simply echo mem to /sys/power/state
I think I keep the button pressed too much and the command is executed twice.

I still haven't checked it, but you can check adding something like "echo EXECUTED >> /tmp/suspend.txt" to your suspend script and then checking the file to see how many times the script was executed.

Re: s2ram resuming with shortcuts

I have added the echo command but the file was not written, so I added a sleep 1 in the script and now it seems that resume is working (tried 7 times...)
